The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in boiler operations, utilities, and production support within the distillery, alcohol, or process manufacturing industry. Key Responsibilities - Operate, monitor, and maintain industrial boilers safely and efficiently.
- Ensure uninterrupted steam supply for production operations.
- Monitor boiler performance and carry out routine inspections.
- Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.
- Maintain operational records, logs, and reports.
- Support day-to-day distillery production and utility operations.
- Coordinate with maintenance and production teams to optimize plant performance.
Requirements - Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3â8 years of experience in boiler operations within the distillery, alcohol, ethanol, brewery, sugar, or other process manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of steam generation systems, utilities, and boiler maintenance.
- Understanding of safety standards and boiler operating procedures.
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate to Uganda.
