Job Summary The Bike Sales Representative is an active, field-based commercial agent responsible for promoting and selling the company's product lines directly across designated retail routes. Navigating mapped territories via motorcycle, you will manage rapid product delivery, secure new retail accounts, handle field cash transactions responsibly, and build strong relationships with vendors. Key Responsibilities - Product Delivery & Route Management: Ride a company-assigned motorcycle to distribute FMCG products to retail outlets, open markets, and localized vendors within an assigned route.
- Inventory Control: Monitor real-time stock levels, check and report product shortages, handle inventory with strict safety standards, and maintain exact delivery records.
- Sales Growth: Actively engage with prospective retailers, upsell product lines, secure new volume orders, and maintain a sharp, current knowledge of product features and customer benefits.
- Customer Care: Provide exceptional frontline customer service, resolve vendor complaints promptly, and sustain positive business relationships with local retailers.
- Financial Accountability: Receive and manage cash payments directly from customers, execute cash handling with complete responsibility, and submit accurate transaction summaries.
- Asset Maintenance: Perform mandatory daily checks on the motorcycle to ensure optimal working conditions, and maintain perfect cleanliness and organizational layout of the bike and loaded products.
- Compliance & Reporting: Formulate and submit comprehensive daily sales and delivery reports to your supervisor while strictly adhering to local traffic laws and company safety policies.
Requirements & Qualifications - Academic Background: Minimum of an O-Level Certificate alongside a Diploma or UACE Certificate in any field of study.
- Experience: 1 or more years of experience operating in a similar role within the sales, distribution, or FMCG industry.
- Licensing: Must possess a valid Riding/Driving permit with a clean operational record.
- Core Skills: Effective verbal communication, sound negotiation capabilities, basic analytical mind, report writing, and familiarity with Sales Force Automation (SFA) or digital computer skills.
