Bid Notice Under Open International Bidding tender job at Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited

Supply and Installation of an Oil Water Separator and Associated Spares at Isimba HPP - UEGCL/SPLS/2025-26/22976

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds for the acquisition of an Oil Water Separator and Associated Spares at Isimba HPP.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above Supplies.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding method procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at (8) from 9:00am – 4:00pm.

5. The Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below at (8) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000/= (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be in the bank on Isimba Hydro Power Plant Operations and Maintenance account, A/C No. 9030018670266 upon which bidders shall be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at (8) at or before Friday 27th March, 2026 at 11:00am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 6,000,000/- (Uganda Shillings Six Million only). The Bid Security must be valid until 30th October, 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at (8) at 11:10am on Friday 27th March, 2026.

7. There shall be a mandatory pre-bid meeting/site visit at Isimba HPP, Kayunga at 11:00 am on the date(s) indicated in the planned procurement schedule below.

8. Documents may be inspected at; issued from; delivered to and bids opened from; Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited, Plot 6 – 9 Okot Close, Bukoto Block C, Victoria Park, P.O. Box 75831, Kampala Uganda.
