Bid Notice Under Open International Bidding Design, Manufacture, Test, Supply, Install And Commission Unit 1 And 7 Generator Transformers At Nalubaale Power Station at Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited tender job

PROCUREMENT REFERENCE NUMBER: UEGCL/SPLS/2024-25/22080

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for the acquisition of Generator Transformers for Units 1 and 7 at Nalubaale Power Station.

2. The entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open International Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00am to 5:00pm.

5. The bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000. The method of payment will be through the bank.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(a) at or before 11:00am on 19th August 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of USD 80,000 valid up to 30th December 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(a) at 11:00am on 19th August 2025.

7. There shall be a mandatory pre–bid meeting at Nalubaale Power Station on Thursday 24th July 2025 at 10:00am.
