Bid Notice Under Open Domestic Bidding tender at Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited

SUBJECT OF PROCUREMENT: SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE OF HEATING VENTILATION AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM (HVAC) AT KARUMA HYDRO POWER PLANT; PROCUREMENT REFERENCE NO: UEGCL/NCON/2025-26/23546

1. Uganda Electricity Generation Company Ltd has allocated funds to be used for Service and Maintenance of Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning System (HVAC) at Karuma Hydro Power Plant.

2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above services.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic Bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2015 and regulations 2023 and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 7 from 9:00am to 4:00pm.

5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 7 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be in the bank on UEGCL A/C No. 9030011177327, Stanbic Bank upon which bidders shall be presented a bank slip as proof of payment. The Document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 7 at or before 10:00am on 17th June, 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 6,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Six Million Only). Bid security must be valid until 30th October, 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 7 at 10:10 am on 17th June, 2026.

7. Documents will be inspected at; Issued from; delivered to and bids opened from; Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited Plot 6-9 Okot Close, Bukoto Block C, Victoria Park P.O. Box 75831, Kampala Uganda.
