Bid Notice Under Open Domestic Bidding tender at Ministry of Water and Environment

BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING

1. The Government of Uganda under the Ministry of Water and Environment has received funding from the European Union under the 11th European Development Fund (EDF) through a Financing Agreement with the Government of Uganda under the Cooperation and NGO to implement the EU-WASH and Infrastructure in Schools Project under the Climate Resilience and Water Infrastructure for Refugees and Host Communities in Northern Uganda Program. Part of the funds are to be used for the acquisition of the above works.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (the Act) and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 9:00am to 5:00pm during official working hours.
5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested bidders at the address given below at 8(a) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only) per lot. The method of payment will be by Direct Credit to the bank account below:

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(a) or before 10:00am on dates stated in the planned procurement schedule below. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in form of an unconditional bank guarantee of the amount indicated above and valid until 27th March 2027. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) at 10:15 am on dates indicated in Planned Procurement Schedule below.
7. There shall be a pre-bid meeting/site visits (Site Visit is Mandatory) as indicated in the table below.
8. Bidders should note the following:
   (a) Documents shall be inspected from, issued from, and delivered to the Procurement and Disposal Unit, Ministry of Water and Environment, Room 6, Plot 14/16, Matrix Road, P.O. Box 381, Lira City.
