Supply and Installation of Wide Area Network Routers
– UEGCL/SPLS/24-25/2028

Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has received funds to be used for the acquisition of Wide Area Network Routers.

The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, CAD 203 as amended and Regulations 2024, and is open to all bidders. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given between 9:00am and 4:00pm.

The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be UEGCL A/C No. 6088555837, ABSA Bank, upon which you shall be presented with a bank slip as proof of payment. The document may be collected by the bidder from UEGCL Office.

Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 10:00am on Monday, 11 August 2025. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 7,000,000 (Uganda Shillings Seven Million Only). Bid securities must be valid until Monday, 20 December 2025. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at 10:10am on Monday, 11 August 2025.

There shall be a pre-bid meeting at UEGCL Head Office, Kampala on the dates indicated in the proposed schedule in this notice.
