- Gombe Secondary School is the process of prequalifying firms/individuals that are to bid for the supply/provision of goods, work and services during the financial years 2027-2029.
- The school now invites suitably qualified firms/companies and individuals to submit prequalification applications for provision of goods, works and services as indicated below.
A. PREQUALIFICATION SUPPLIES 1.1 School stores, computers, projectors, ICT equipment /consumables, smart boards, photocopiers and printers 1.2 Fire Fighting equipment and spares 1.3 School Furniture, beds and fittings 1.4 Electronic Equipment (e.g. cameras, TVs, public address systems) 1.5 Textbooks, Students books and Journals 1.6 Security gadgets e.g. CCTV Cameras, Biometric machines and others 1.7 Printed materials (e.g. envelopes, headed papers, scheme books) 1.8 Sports equipment 1.9 Kitchen Equipment (Refrigerators, Saucepans, plates, cups, flasks, water boilers, cutlery e.t.c) 1.10 Motor Vehicle tyres, parts and lubricants 1.11 Supply and repair of PVC tents SERVICES 2.1 Repair, maintenance and servicing of computers, printers, photocopiers and other ICT Equipment 2.2 Engineering services 2.3 Repair and maintenance of furniture, beds and fittings 2.4 Consultancy services (e.g. Preparation of bills of quantities, Architectural designs, Building, quantity surveying and supervision) 2.5 Printing, Art and graphics design 1.6 Repair, service and maintenance of school motor vehicles 1.7 Fumigation Services 1.8 Internet connection services 1.9 Security services 1.10 Garbage collection services 1.11 Repair and maintenance of generators - WORK
3.1 Civil works (Construction, repair, refurbishment and renovation of school buildings, roads, fencing and painting of school premises) - The school intends to place framework contracts for provision of identified supplies and services for the financial year 2027.
- The bids for framework contracts must be accompanied by a Bid Securing Declaration for local providers.
- The identified supplies and services for placement of framework contracts are indicated below.
B. FRAME WORK CONTRACTS 1.1 Assorted Stationery, toner cartridges and master Rolls | Ref:GSS/ SUPLS/2027/0001 1.2 Cleaning and Sanitary materials | Ref: GSS/SUPLS/2027/0002 1.3 Human Drugs and Supplies | Ref: GSS/SUPLS/2027/0003 1.4 Laboratory Equipment, reagents & Chemicals | Ref: GSS/SUPLS/2027/0004 1.5 Food stuffs (Maize Flour, Beans, Rice, Sugar, Cooking Oil and Soya flour) | Ref: GSS/SUPLS/2027/0005 1.6 Electrical Equipment | Ref: GSS/SUPLS/2027/0006 1.7 School uniforms | Ref: GSS/SUPLS/2027/0007 - The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above items.
- Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act (the Act) Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at Gombe Secondary School from 10:00am to 4:00pm during official working hours from Monday to Friday.
- A complete set of prequalification Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased by interested bidders on request from the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 per individual item. The bidding document in English Language for placement of framework contracts may be purchased by interested bidders on request from the address below upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 200,000 per individual item. The method of payment will be by cash or banker's cheque.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below at 12 or before 12:00pm on Thursday 1st October 2026.
- Address of bid opening: The Procurement and Disposal Unit, Gombe Secondary School Box 192 Mpigi.
