BID NOTICE UNDER INTERNATIONAL BIDDING

1. The Government of Uganda under the Ministry of Water and Environment has received funds from the Federal Republic of Germany through the KFW Development Bank to implement the Drought Resilience in the Karamoja Subregion Project. The Ministry of Water and Environment has allocated part of the funds to be used for the acquisition of the above works.
2. The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works.
3. Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 (the Act) and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:30am to 5:00pm during official working hours.
5. The bidding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 8(a) upon submission of an Application Letter and payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX: 100,000 = (Uganda Shillings: One Hundred Thousand Only) Per Assignment. The method of payment will be by Direct Debit to URA Accounts.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(a) at or before 11:00am on dates stated in the table above. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in form of an unconditional bank guarantee in the amount stated above. Bid securities must be valid until 18th April, 2027. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(b) at 11:30 am on dates indicated in the table above.
7. There shall be a pre-bid meetings and site visits, as indicated in the table above. Site Visits are mandatory. Bidders must prepare adequate transportation to enable them all sites.
