PROCUREMENT AND DISPOSAL UNIT, BUTALEJA

BID NOTICE NO.2

1. Butaleja District Local Government registered service providers for supply, services, works and framework contracts for 3 years ending 2026/2027.

2. Butaleja DLG intends to update the registered service providers FY 2026/2027.

3. Butaleja district therefore invites bids from registered service providers for update of details FY 2026/2027 and new prospective applicants for the same.

4. Reservation scheme shall apply to special interest group registered Associations for women, PWDs and the youths (no Non refundable fee payment).

FRAMEWORK CONTRACT IS FY 2027/2027

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Bidders must attach the following documents:

• Official receipt copy of the banking slip of non-refundable fee of Butaleja District Local Government

• Copy of valid trading license 2026

• A copy of Certificate of registration/incorporation

• A copy of Memorandum and Articles of association or partnership deed

• A copy of Company form 7/6/16/29 (applicable to LME Companies only)

• Valid copy of income tax clearance 2026 addressed to Butaleja District Local Government (to be verified)

• TIN Registration certificate

• Copy of valid PDO Registration certificate

• General Presents of attorney/ partnership deed to the signatory of the bid

• True passport photo for two Directors

• Beneficiary ownership form 1

• Driving permit where applicable

• Bank statement for recent 3 months or audited books of account for recent 2 years

• Bid submission sheet in the required format

2. Bidding documents should be obtained from the Procurement and Disposal Unit upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 53,000/- and all payment should be made to the Butaleja District General Fund Collection Account using IRAS.

3. Quotations should be VAT inclusive (where applicable) and Price List should be submitted for all framework contracts.

4. Bidders must submit two (2) bound bids one marked "Original" and the other "Copy".

5. Each item must be applied for separately with a Procurement reference number indicated on the envelope.

6. Bids must be numbered sequentially, stamped and signed by the bidders.

7. Special interest groups are encouraged to bid and shall not pay the non-refundable fees to obtain the bidding document.

8. Prospectively selected bids should be marked with words Bid for … or Registration for … and addressed to the Head of Procurement and Disposal Unit, Butaleja District Local Government, P.O Box 1 Butaleja.

9. It should be noted that the Procurement and Disposal Unit will not accept any Bid 2026 at 11:00 am and thereafter bids shall be opened on the same day at 11:15 am in the Council Hall where Bidders/presentatives may choose to attend.

10. Butaleja District shall not be bound by the highest or lowest or any bid.
