JOB DETAILS: Action for Rural Women’s Empowerment (ARUWE) is a non-profit; Non-Governmental Organization working with marginalized groups of people, especially women and girls. ARUWE has received financing from Impact and Innovations Development Centre (IIDC) to scale up the implementation of the Responsible Engaged and Loving (REAL) Fathers program, which is an evidence-based, community-led parenting mentoring program aimed at reducing intimate partner violence and violence against children while promoting early childhood development and learning through play. ARUWE is now looking to fill the following positions to implement the project and invites eligible candidates to apply. Purpose of the Role: The purpose of this role is to provide support to all Social and Behavioral Change Communication (SBCC) related activities in targeted districts. The incumbent will support Project Officers/Mentors in conducting group sessions and community celebrations as well as supporting the documentation and monitoring of change stories. The BCC Officer will be based in the Central Region but with frequent travel to other regions. The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Head of Programs. The Person: • Relevant academic training at bachelor’s degree level. • At least 3 years practical experience in community-based programs and especially social behavior change activities, facilitating community dialogue, etc. Work Hours: 8
