Job Summary:   Are you passionate about business growth and skilled in driving sales strategies? The Stoneridge School is launching a bakery to provide fresh bread 3and baked goods for our learners and parents and we are seeking a Bakery Operations and Business Manager to oversee the business side of this exciting venture.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sales strategies to promote the bakery’s products to learners, parents and the wider community.
• Manage day-to-day bakery operations, ensuring smooth coordination between the production team and sales channels.
• Monitor inventory levels and work closely with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of ingredients.
• Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including parents, suppliers and local businesses.
• Oversee pricing strategies, cost control and profit margins to ensure the bakery’s financial sustainability.
• Manage marketing efforts such as promotions, social media updates and events to increase bakery visibility.
• Analyze sales data and customer feedback to inform decision-making and improve products and services.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and food quality standards.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Education & Training:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Certification or training in food business management is an added advantage.

Experience:

• Proven experience in business management, sales or marketing (experience in the food or hospitality industry preferred).
• Familiarity with bakery or food production operations is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong business acumen with a focus on sales growth and customer satisfaction.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and financial planning.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
