- Formulate maintenance schedules and follow through on the status to ensure that all into-plane equipment and the fleet are well maintained.
- Carry out the maintenance of Into-plane vehicles and equipment as required by JIG & MOCQAT
- Perform corrective maintenance for minor repairs on aviation fueling equipment
- Constantly monitor the filtration systems and safety features of aviation equipment.
- Control the spare part inventory and updates all quality records
- Mentor and train new staff in maintenance of into-plane equipment
- Supervise all contractors working in the depot, more particularly contractors working on aviation equipment.
- Update sales records and meter reconciliation
- Participate in the refueling activity from time to time.
- Carry out drum filling and occasionally give a hand to refueling activities
- Implement the audit recommendations in liaison with Aviation Manager
- Guide the refueling team in the correct use of equipment and in fulfilment of company objective.
- Ensure equipment is in good working condition with required spares parts available all the time
- Enforce the JIG requirements and recommendations for equipment and Quality of JET A1 are enforced in line with MOCQAT.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: - A strong and broad-based background in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in Vehicle repairs, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
- Minimum driving permit for commercial vehicles (Class CM)
- Computer and interpersonal skills
- Leader and communication skills
