Key Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy - To assist and support WM in achieving and maintaining daily and overall sales targets by providing up to date relevant information on new and existing customers.
Business - To create awareness on FX, FI & managed Investments opportunities and drive sales of Treasury products profitably to each Wealth markets customer.
- To sell Treasury products profitably to each of allocated groups of Retail customers, acting as their primary point of contact in treasury for pricing.
- To grow Wealth markets FX, FI & managed Investments revenues.
- Respond speedily and positively to all requests from customers for a specific transaction or for more general advice, or introduction to a more appropriate contact within SCB, whether or not the request is from the specifically allocated group of customers.
- To keep an up-to-date database on all top key forex banking customers and prospective clients at all times.

- Business Development & Change Management – looking into new business growth areas,
- Transforming the business model to a digitally led, human touch model, and simplified client journeys.
Processes - Liaise with Operations concerning customer feedback received on service delivery quality in order to seek improvements in service delivery where viewed.
People & Talent - Ensure self-development through regular review of progress with Team leader CMPS, with the objective of meeting present and future.
Risk Management - Enhance the Bank’s reputation in the local market through personally demonstrating a high level of professionalism and developing mutually beneficial working relationships with our customers.
- Ensuring that market risk and counter party limits are not exceeded.
Governance - Take personal responsibility for understanding the risk and compliance requirements of the role.
- Understand and comply with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws and regulations, including those governing anti-money laundering, terrorist financing and sanctions; the Group’s policies and procedures; and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk and compliance matters.
Regulatory & Business Conduct - Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Lead the CPBB frontline and relationship management teams to achieve the outcomes set out in the  Bank’s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.] *

- Bank of Uganda & Capital Markets Authority – Bank of Uganda regulates the Foreign Exchange market and Capital Markets Authority regulates Investment solutions
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: - At least three years experience in banking /selling of Treasury products.
- Excellent understanding of FX, equities, bonds and derivatives.
- Deep understanding of pricing of Treasury & Structured products.
- Ability to determine appropriate product /pricing strategies.
- Good knowledge of operational and systems user requirements for financial products.
- Ability to represent and project the Bank externally.
