Job Summary: Responsible for aligning sales performance with core business targets by driving strategic staff recruitment and loan volumes while maintaining optimal portfolio health. Key duties/responsibilities: - Drive Sales Growth: Lead and manage sales teams to consistently meet recruitment and loan disbursement targets in line with organizational growth objectives.
- Oversee the Loan Lifecycle: Supervise the full loan process from application to disbursement ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and strict adherence to risk and compliance standards.
- Manage portfolio quality: Monitor portfolio performance daily, implementing proactive recovery and delinquency management strategies to minimize Portfolio at Risk (PAR).
- Optimize Branch Operations: Coordinate daily operations to remove bottlenecks, streamline workflows, and enhance service delivery and scalability.
- Develop high performing teams: Coach, mentor, and train staff to build a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous professional development.
- Improve Processes and Client Experience: Evaluate operational systems and implement innovations that increase efficiency and strengthen customer satisfaction.
- Strategic Reporting: Produce accurate daily and monthly performance reports with actionable insights to support informed management decisions.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: - Bachelorâs degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or any other related field.
- A masterâs degree will be of added advantage.
- At least five (5) years relevant work experience in microfinance and/or banking.
Key Competencies - Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills to mentor staff and foster a performance driven culture.
- Deep understanding of microfinance lending practices.
