Position: Assistant Manager, Investments Grade: 4 Department: Investments Reports to: Senior Manager, Investments Location: Kampala, Uganda Terms of Service: Local Terms (Full-Time) Role Summary The successful candidate will support the management of investment portfolios by conducting investment research, monitoring market developments, analyzing portfolio performance and risk, and preparing investment reports. The role will also contribute to portfolio strategy, trade execution, regulatory compliance, client relationship management, and business development. Key Requirements - Bachelorâs degree in actuarial science, mathematics, commerce, finance, or a related field
- At least 3-4 yearsâ experience in an investment support or portfolio management role
- Progress towards the CFA designation
- CISI certification
- Strong knowledge of financial markets, investment instruments, portfolio theory, and risk management
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong attention to detail, client relationship skills, and ability to work under pressure
