Key responsibilities - Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records and reports.
- Process invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
- Maintain accurate accounts payable and accounts receivable records.
- Assist in payroll processing and statutory deductions.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company financial policies.
- Prepare supporting documentation for audits.
- Manage petty cash and maintain proper accounting records.
- Perform any other finance and administrative duties assigned by management.
Qualifications & experience - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration (Accounting Option), or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CPA Level II or ACCA are an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Accounting Software is required.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of Uganda tax regulations and statutory requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality
