Key Responsibilities - Prepare and post accounting entries into the accounting system.
- Process supplier invoices and customer payments.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash, and ledger balances.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, and journal entries.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Assist with payroll processing where required.
- Monitor fuel station sales reconciliations and cash collections.
- Assist during internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and tax regulations.
- Perform any other finance duties assigned by the Finance Manager or Chief Accountant.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- CPA Level II or higher is often an added advantage.
- 1â3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the petroleum, retail, or FMCG sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage, or ERP systems).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
