Assistant Accountant job at Alijeda Furniture

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate & timely financial statements & reports including monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Manage bank reconciliations
• Manage budgets & forecasts, ensuring that expenses are in line with budgeted amounts.
• Ensure tax compliance, including filing tax returns & meeting all tax requirements.
• Maintain all internal controls, including implementing recommendations from internal audits.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Provide financial guidance and support to management and other departments.

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance, Commerce, Business Administration (Accounting option), or a closely related field is usually required.
• ACCA or CPA is an additional advantage

Working Experience & Skills

• 2 to 3 years of professional experience in accounting.
• Age of 23-28 years.
• Should be excellent with Tally ERP 9.
• Should be familiar with a manufacturing company
• Should be able to work under pressure
