Job Summary B.A. in Librarianship and Information Science B.A. in Mass Communication B.A. in ICT B.Sc. in Engineering (Telecommunication Engineering) one of the above qualifications is a MUST from a recognised institution The candidate will conduct error free Digitized Audio and Video Recordings from VHS tape to digital video format - Minimum Qualification : Bachelors

Job Description/Requirements Digitizing of VHS tapes and Cataloguing, indexing and archiving the entire digitized audio-visual collection library in the Recording and Broadcasting Digital re-mastering VHS tapes in accordance with internationally accepted standards; Manage quality control during the digitization process; Handle errors during digitization; Save the digital audio-visual content on DVDs; and Save the digital audio-visual content onto the Recording and Broadcasting Division servers. Cataloging, classification and indexing of the VHS tapes and the digital audio-visual collection Classify and catalogue VHS tapes in accordance with accepted standards; Classify, catalogue and index the digital audio-visual collection using internationally accepted tools and standards; and  Metadata capture Onsite archiving of the digital audio-visual collection in accordance with internationally accepted standards; and Update the digital audio-visual collection library. Â
