Applications For The 2026 Annual tender job at Electricity Regulatory Authority

TARIFF REVIEW

Under regulation 16 of the Electricity (Application for Permit, License and Tariff Review) Regulations, 2007.

TAKE NOTICE That the Electricity Regulatory Authority has, pursuant to Regulation 16 of the Electricity (Application for Permit, License and Tariff Review) Regulations, 2007 and the provisions in the respective licences, received applications in respect of the 2026 Annual Tariff Review from the following Licenses:

1. UGANDA ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION COMPANY LIMITED (UEDCL)

2. UGANDA ELECTRICITY TRANSMISSION COMPANY LIMITED (UETCL): AND

3. UGANDA ELECTRICITY GENERATION COMPANY LIMITED (UEGCL).

In accordance with Regulation 16 (3) and (4) of Electricity (Application for Permit, License and Tariff Review) Regulations, 2007, the Authority hereby invites all interested stakeholders, the public and public agencies to inspect the applications, and submit comments or objections to the applications, within fifteen (15) days from the date of this notice.

The applications can be accessed at the ERA Website at www.era.go.ug, and inspected at any of the Authority’s addresses listed below:

1. ERA House, Plot SC-1, 3rd Street – Lugogo, Industrial Area, Kampala
   P.O Box 10332, Kampala - Uganda

2. ERA Northern Region Office, Plot 1, Samuel Doe Road, Gulu City

3. ERA Eastern Region Office, Plot 12A, Masaba Road, Mbale City

4. ERA Western Region Office, Plot 7, Gali Road, Mbarara City

Stakeholders wishing to make representations with regard to the Applications can do so by post, hand delivery or other recorded delivery methods to the Authority at the addresses provided above or via email: secretaryera.go.ug.
