Job Purpose

To provide safe and effective anaesthesia services during surgical procedures while ensuring patient safety before, during, and after operations.

• Prepare patients for anaesthesia procedures.
• Administer anaesthesia under approved clinical guidelines.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs during surgical procedures.
• Provide peri-operative anaesthetic support.
• Maintain anaesthesia equipment and supplies.
• Ensure infection prevention and patient safety standards are followed.
• Assist in emergency care and resuscitation procedures.
• Maintain accurate anaesthesia records.
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

• Strong knowledge of anaesthetic procedures.
• Good patient monitoring skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to detail.
• Teamwork and professionalism.

• Diploma in Anaesthetic Science or related qualification from a recognized institution.
• Registered with the relevant professional body.
• Valid practicing license.
• Previous experience in theatre or surgical settings is an added advantage.
