Job Summary
Kesai Eagrow Agrotech Uganda, a leading provider of agricultural technology solutions,
is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesperson to join our team. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for selling agro-tech products and solutions, building strong
relationships with clients, and driving business growth. This role requires a passionate
sales professional with excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of the
agriculture and agribusiness sector.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development:
● Identify and engage potential customers, including farmers, agribusinesses,
cooperatives, and distributors.
● Promote and sell the company’s agricultural technology products and solutions,
ensuring they meet client needs.
● Conduct market research to identify new sales opportunities and customer
preferences.
● Generate and follow up on sales leads, and closing deals to achieve monthly and
quarterly sales targets.
● Demonstrate product features, conduct field visits, and provide technical support
where necessary.
Customer Relationship Management:
● Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and
repeat business.
● Educate customers on the benefits and usage of agro-tech products to maximize
their value.
● Handle customer inquiries, address concerns, and provide solutions to meet their
needs.
● Collect and analyze customer feedback to improve product offerings and sales
strategies.
Marketing & Brand Representation:
● Represent Kesai Eagrow Agrotech Uganda at trade fairs, agricultural exhibitions,
and industry events.
● Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and workshops for potential
buyers.
● Develop and share sales reports, forecasts, and competitor analysis to help refine
sales strategies.
● Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective
promotional campaigns.
Sales Administration & Reporting:
● Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer databases.
● Provide weekly and monthly sales reports, including progress on targets and
challenges faced.
● Work closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery
of products.
● Follow up on invoices, payments, and ensure proper documentation of sales
transactions.
Qualifications; Skills Required and Experience:
● Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Sales & Marketing,
Business Administration, or a related field.
● Previous experience (1-3 years) in sales, preferably in the agriculture, agrotech,
or agrochemical industry.
● Knowledge of agricultural products, technology, and farming solutions is a plus.
Key Competencies:
● Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
● Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
● Willingness to travel to rural areas and engage with farmers and agribusinesses.
● Basic knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office tools.
● Passion for agriculture and helping farmers improve productivity.
