Her Voice Foundation (HVF), formerly known as Campus Babe Initiative (CBI), is a non-profit organization that provides support to teenage mothers and at-risk girls through Second-Chance Education (SCE), entrepreneurship skills, healthcare, counseling, and other second-chance opportunities curated to help teenage mothers thrive, gain control of their lives, and reach their desired future.
Job Summary:   We’re looking for a Communications and Marketing Officer to join our growing team and bring our vision to life through strategic and creative communication efforts.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As the Communications and Marketing Officer, you’ll:
- Design and Implement Strategies: Craft communication and marketing plans that elevate Her Voice Africa’s profile and drive support for our programs.
- Manage Digital Presence: Oversee social media platforms, websites, and email campaigns to deliver consistent and engaging messaging.
- Create Compelling Content: Develop content that tells the story of Her Voice Africa’s impact—from newsletters to press releases, blogs to social media posts.
- Build Media and Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate relationships with media, donors, and partners to amplify our reach and influence.
- Analyze and Report: Track the effectiveness of campaigns using analytics, ensuring we continuously improve our efforts.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Education: A diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in managing digital platforms, developing marketing strategies, or creating content. Fresh graduates with relevant internships are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong storytelling, writing, and editing abilities. Proficiency in social media management and basic design tools like Canva is a plus.
- Mindset: A self-starter who is creative, collaborative, and committed to Her Voice Africa’s mission.
- Adaptability: Eager to learn and grow, with a readiness to take on challenges in a dynamic environment.
