The The Programmes Coordinator will be responsible for leading and developing the NGO to increase the number of sponsors, beneficiaries and programmes. She/he will oversee; all external communications, finances (in conjunction with the Finance Officer) and all other programmes that UHfH carries out, working closely with UHfH’s education departments as well as all other stakeholders/partners and the Director. Essential Responsibilities of the Position - Represent UHfH in the most positive manner with all children, parents, visitors, staff, sponsors and the community we serve.
- Proactively manage, lead and develop UHfH as an NGO and its schools; strengthening existing
programmes, developing new programmes and reaching out to more beneficiaries. - Conduct all external communications with partners, stakeholders, sponsors and donors.
- Oversee finances and fundraising, including the development of new income streams.
- Ensure that Child Protection is at the center of all UHfH programs.
- Uphold the Mission of Uganda Hands for Hope: to help Uganda’s poorest help themselves by providing long term sustainable opportunities through education, livelihoods programs and skills training.
- Maintain confidentiality of all information gained from working with Uganda Hands for Hope. Handle Information with sensitivity, tact and discretion.
