- Analyse statistical data on all insurance risks and accidents.t
- Computer modelling of statistics to determine potential risk.
- Assist in the pricing and review of insurance products.
- Prepare accurate actuarial data and ensure the integrity and completeness of information used for analysis.
- Monitor the performance and profitability of insurance products and portfolios.
- Work closely with Finance, Underwriting, Claims, Risk and other business functions.
- Review all company and client data before its presented and check that is well in order.
- Review the performance of actuaries and the accuracy on the analysis and predictions.
- Participate in automation and process-improvement initiatives within the company.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills) - Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
- Successfully completed a minimum of 5 actuarial papers.
- Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A member of the Actuarial Association of Uganda.
Experience needed - At least 3-years relevant experience.

- High levels of accuracy and integrity.
