The role ensures accurate recording of transactions, proper stock control, and timely reporting to enable smooth operations and accountability at the factory. Duties, Roles and Responsibilities Accounts - Record daily financial transactions and prepare simple reconciliations.
- Receive and account for payments from sales at the factory.
- Support preparation of expense reports and petty cash management.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial reports for head office.
- Workforce management software
Inventory - Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials and finished goods.
- Update stock cards and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Support stock-taking exercises and report variances promptly.
- Monitor re-order levels and alert management in time.
- Ensure all supporting documents (delivery notes, receipts, requisitions) are filed properly.
- Provide administrative support to the factory team as required.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies - Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Stores/Procurement, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 yearsâ experience in accounts or inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution company.
- Knowledge of basic accounting software and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity.
