This includes maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
- Perform account reconciliations (bank, supplier, and inter-company).
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts.
Accounts Management: - Manage accounts payable (process invoices, payments, and expense reports).
- Manage accounts receivable (issue invoices, track collections, and follow up on overdue accounts).
- Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate coding of transactions.
Compliance & Audit: - Ensure compliance with all tax regulations (VAT, Withholding Tax, Corporate Tax).
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Payroll: - Process monthly payroll, ensuring accurate deductions and remittances (statutory contributions).
Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelorâs degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CIMA) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS and local tax laws.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
