Role Overview As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in our financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis. You will work closely with the General Manager and contribute to the financial integrity of our operations while working in an engaging and supportive team environment. Position Details Employment Type: Full-time Location: Wakaliga Work Arrangement: On-site Reporting Structure: Reports to the General Manager Key Responsibilities - Examine, analyze, and interpret accounting records to prepare accurate financial statements.
- Install or advise on systems of recording financial data.
- Monitor the operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Provide insights to improve financial processes and budgetary data.
- Assist in audits and evaluations of financial statements prepared by others.
Requirements Essential Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fields.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Proficient in database user interface and query software such as QuickBooks and Odoo.
- Strong knowledge in customer service, administration, and mathematics.
- Language proficiency in Luganda and Swahili.
Preferred Qualifications - Experience or certification in additional relevant areas is a plus.
