BUHWEJU DISTRICT Job Description for Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) - Buhweju District Local Government The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) is the head of the administrative wing of the Buhweju District Local Government and is responsible for overseeing the implementation of government policies, programs, and projects within the district. Key responsibilities include: - Strategic Leadership: Provide overall leadership and direction to the district administration, ensuring alignment with national and local government objectives.
- Policy Implementation: Oversee the execution of government policies, programs, and projects, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Financial Management: Supervise the preparation and management of the district budget, ensuring efficient utilization of resources and accountability.
- Service Delivery: Ensure effective delivery of public services, including infrastructure development, health, education, and water supply.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with central government agencies, NGOs, and community leaders to foster development partnerships.
