Key duties include: - Asset Disposal: Managing the end-to-end process of disposing of obsolete or surplus assets (e.g., ATMs, safes, UPS systems) through competitive bidding, auctions, or recycling.
- Bid Management: Preparing bid documents, evaluating submissions, and recommending awards to the Contracts Committee.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Liaising with internal departments (IT, Finance) and external bidders to facilitate inspections and clarify technical specifications.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to regulatory guidelines (Bank of Uganda, PPDA) and maintaining audit-ready records.
- Vendor Management: Vetting suppliers, negotiating terms, and monitoring contract performance.
- Reporting: Submitting disposal reports to management and regulatory bodies as required.
