The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair, alongside the ability to manage and optimize fleet operations. Key Roles & Responsibilities - Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues in vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure fleet reliability and safety.
- Manage inventory of vehicle parts and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and organization.
- Schedule and oversee maintenance sessions for fleet vehicles, advising on best practices for vehicle use.
- Maintain accurate logs of repairs, maintenance activities, and vehicle conditions.
- Collaborate with fleet management to implement policies and procedures that enhance operational efficiency.
- Train and supervise junior mechanics and drivers on basic vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.
Requirements - A high school diploma or equivalent in mechanics vehicle most preferred.
- Proven experience as a motor vehicle mechanic, with at least 3 years in a fleet management role preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
