Job details: The overall purpose of the role is to lead and manage the sales team to achieve loan disbursement targets, grow a quality loan portfolio, and support the overall business strategy. Key duties/responsibilities: - Lead recruitment, onboarding, and continuous capacity building initiatives to strengthen sales staff capabilities.
- Drive team performance through structured reporting, performance reviews, and regular field visits.
- Consistently meet monthly targets for sales, portfolio growth, and portfolio quality.
- Support marketing activities and promotional campaigns to boost loan uptake and brand visibility.
- Analyze market trends, competition, and potential new customer segments.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly performance reports to senior management.
- Collaborate with senior management to align sales activities with overall business strategy.
- Enforce compliance with internal policies, credit procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: - Bachelorâs degree in sales, marketing or a business-related field from a recognized institution.
- At least ten (10) years relevant work experience in microfinance and banking.
Key Competencies - Proven track record of supervising sales teams and achieving targets.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of microfinance lending practices.
