One of our most significant milestones is the launch of a world-class Ntake Edible Oil Refinery at the Namanve Industrial Business Park. This state-of-the-art facility produces a wide range of essential consumer goods, including Ntake Edible Cooking Oil available in 20L, 10L, 5L, 3L, and 1L jerrycans; Ntake Thupu Refined Fortified Edible Vegetable Oil in sachets of 1000ml, 500ml, 200ml, 100ml, 50ml, and 25ml packs; Ntake Baker’s Fat (AA & BB); Ntake Margarine; Refined RBD Olein (Bulk and Export Package); and an assortment of soaps such as Ntake Zuri Off-White Soap, Ntake Lemon Perfumed Soap, Ntake Zuri Brown Soap, and Ntake Zuri Blue Soap. As Ntake Bakery & Company Limited continues to grow and expand across East Africa, we are seeking a highly motivated, skilled, and detail-oriented professional to join our team as an Assistant Internal Auditor. This role presents an exciting opportunity to support the Internal Audit and Risk Management function, strengthen internal control systems, ensure full compliance with regulatory, financial, and operational standards, and drive operational efficiency across our bakery, flour mill, concrete batching plant, estates, confectionery, and tissue manufacturing operations.

As a Marketing and Distribution Officer at Ntake Bakery – Nalukolongo Branch, you will supervise and market our bakery products, ensuring that they reach the right customers efficiently while maximizing sales, brand visibility, and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies, managing product distribution, monitoring market trends, and coordinating with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and optimal performance. Key Responsibilities

• Marketing of Products and Services: Promote Ntake Bakery’s full range of products, including Bread, Confectioneries, Buns and Rolls, Specialty Baked Goods, Savory Pastries, Artisan & Seasonal Products, Snack Items, and Ready-to-Eat Items to the right target markets. Implement campaigns, promotions, and brand-building initiatives to increase awareness and customer engagement.
• Technical Marketing Skills and Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of all Ntake Bakery products and provide guidance to the sales team and customers on features, benefits, and correct usage.
• Planning and Strategy Execution: Develop detailed marketing and sales plans aligned with company goals, ensuring all activities comply with company policies.
• Target Achievement and Performance Monitoring: Set and track sales and distribution targets, review performance, trends, and customer feedback, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Sales Forecasting and Regional Planning: Analyze market conditions, regional performance, and product demand to set realistic sales objectives and develop territory-specific execution plans.
• Implementation of Sales Programs: Design and implement field sales action plans, including promotions, campaigns, and product demonstrations, working closely with the sales team.
• Sales Volume and Pricing Management: Maintain optimal sales volume, product mix, and pricing by monitoring supply, demand, and competitor activity, and recommend pricing strategies.
• Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor sales and distribution staff, ensuring continuous guidance and monitoring for performance.
• Coordination of Sales & Distribution Teams: Ensure smooth movement of products from production to market by collaborating with logistics, warehouse, and dispatch teams.
• Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities assigned by management to support operational excellence and business growth.

Education & Experience

• Knowledge of the bakery environment and experience in marketing at a supervisory level is highly preferred.
