Job details: Drive branch level loan growth and oversight, ensuring alignment with company objectives. Key duties/responsibilities: - Ensure that all staff under your supervision on a daily/weekly/monthly basis attain their assigned disbursement and collections targets.
- Analyse disbursement and collections reports and drive appropriate intervention for each individual under your supervision.
- To lead the branch team to ensure that all approved processes (loan origination, appraisal, approval and monitoring) are adhered to.
- To conduct field visits to clients and relevant stakeholders in the branch area of coverage.
- To chair the loan committee, sit in the disbursement meeting and ensure all the loan documentation is in the file and the necessary lending processes are adhered to.
- To recruit, on board, retain, train and coach new and existing staff at the branch on all processes to grow and maintain a good quality portfolio.
- Performance management; inform/engage, remediation plan and action, documentation and staff appraisal to ensure continuous performance improvement for all branch staff.
Required Qualifications and Work Experience: - Degree in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position preferably in a financial institution.
- Knowledgeable about Agri Finance Loans.
- Computer knowledge.
- Must possess leadership and supervisory skills.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
